The first edition of LAKE GARDA 42 was a huge success!

We set ourselves an ambitious goal, which we undoubtedly achieved. Not only did the sport shine at the highest level, but the fun of running and the joy of discovering a dreamlike environment were not missed out. Part of the success story was the organisational interaction of three provinces and three regions. Further, the high proportion of international runners, more than 50 percent, is the most surprising indicator. The female presence at the half marathon was similarly high and very pleasing, accounting for almost 50% of the registrations in this distance. A total of 37 nations were represented and the strongest foreign presence was achieved by German and British runners.

A big thank you to all partners, sponsors as well as all participating municipalities, all police stations and all volunteers for their unbending support.  

We are already looking forward to the next edition of the LAKE GARDA 42 in spring 2023.
