We are looking back on a successful ISPO 2019!

It’s a good feeling to be able to say: the effort was worth it! We have invested a lot of work to get the most out of our projects for this year’s ISPO Munich.

We’d like to share some of our highlights with you:

ISPO Munich Night Run 2019 presented by BUFF®

The second edition of the ISPO Munich Night Run started on February 2nd in the Olympiapark and was a great success.

In addition to the main sponsor BUFF, we gained the support of GORE-TEX, Garmin and PYUA. We held two additional events, the GORE-TEX 1 Mile Uphill Challenge (a 1.6 km relay race) and a Kids Run (1.2 km). The race was won by the celebrity Flo Neuschwander. More information can be found here.

Health & Fitness

We had 41 Health & Fitness events on the agenda over the course of four days. The fitness divisions Endurance, Strength, Agility and Balance presented the latest trends on a scant 260m² of display area, with 10 stations and daily fitness challenges. We were also able to bring stars from the scene such as Britta Steffen, Miriam Neureuther or Julius Brink on board for interviews and workshops.

Body & Mind

Topics ranging from Blackroll, fasciae training and yoga to biohacking, as well as spectacular trends and shows (Yoga for Climbers and Acro Yoga) were presented on the Body & Mind stage. We were also able to put celebrity highlights on stage – such as Simon Park.

Outdoor and Watersports Village

We implemented construction and activation of the indoor pool, a diving container as well as a stage with presentations and lectures on an area of 660 m². The program included various product presentations from outdoor and watersports brands, workshops and shows, and interviews with celebrity guests including Britta Steffen or Casper Steinfath.

ISPO Academy

The 2019 ISPO Academy Conference at ISPO Munich focused on digitalization. The ISPO Academy stage was embedded in the digital surface and offered an exciting conference program. Highlights included the panel discussion on the topic of “Digital Culture – Evolution opportunities through Digitalization” and the China Deep Dive Conference.

ISPO Munich was a great start to 2019, and we look forward to a year full of successful events!
