What does it take for an event to reach cult status? A long tradition? Unique surroundings? A challenging route? Top-class participants? Smooth organisation? The Schliersee Alpentriathlon offers all of that – and much more.
Our heart beats for sports. So when it came to our own event, we sought one that embodies the ultimate sporting spirit. And we succeeded: Since more than 30 years, professionals and recreational athletes in the Alpentriathlon over the Olympic distance have been competing for the hundredth of a second – or just to finish. Highlights of the day are the bicycle climb to the Spitzingsattel, the dreamlike setting and Kaiserschmarrn at the finish.
We have been organising the Schliersee Alpentriathlon since 2016 and are pleased about the continuous increase in registrations. With setup and take-down, the event takes four days. In addition to the Pasta Party with race briefing, the supporting programme also includes an Expo Area. The most prominent starters include: Lothar Leder, Daniel Unger, Faris Al-Sultan and Michael Raelert.
