Four days of snow – that was the SportScheck GletscherTestival 2018

50 exhibitors, 3,500 test articles, snow, music, after-ski and fantastic weather: from 8-11 November, we were again on the Stubai Glacier for SportScheck to make the Gletscher Testival an unforgettable experience for all participants!

At an altitude of 2,900 metres we once again opened the Testival Area, where 50 exhibitors presented more than 3,500 articles for the coming 2018/19 winter season. For four days, the participants had time to test themselves through the articles and to prepare for the new season: from skis and touring skis to snow- and splitboards to accessories such as glasses and helmets, everything was ready to be tested. The weather was perfect, so that the workshops on ski tour or splitboard theory, LVS & sound training or tour planning & risk management were also well attended.

New this year was the music concept with DJ Kidd Salute and DJ Lil’J, who provided a good atmosphere for four days and for whom we designed and produced an extra DJ desk.

On Friday, the highlight was the After-ski Party in the Tschangelair-Alm, where everyone gathered for a beer and good music. For all early risers, Sunrise Yoga was offered at the mountain station on Saturday. And for all those who didn’t have enough of the celebration in the Tschangelair-Alm, DJ Smart heated up again on Saturday afternoon at the Snow Music Fun Party at the mountain station! On Sunday, those who were up early were able to take part in the Early Bird ski tour and really get to work out on the last day.

We are happy that the Gletscher Testival was again a great success and are looking forward to next year!
