Trentino industrial region presents opportunities for the bike industry

At the Food & Bike Lunch on Tuesday, 23 October 2018, representatives of Northern Italy’s famous Trentino region presented their economic strengths, selected companies and plans to guests from the bicycle industry and the media at the Eataly cooking school in Munich.

Trentino is known and loved both by cyclists and gourmets beyond the borders of Italy – no wonder, because in addition to numerous Trentino specialties there are more than 400 kilometers of varied cycle paths in Trentino. Supported by Trentino Sviluppo, the agency for economic development, the northern Italian province also offers a special service for the sports and bike industry.

The Trentino delicacies provided the delicious setting for the presentation of the region. Trentino presented itself as an ideal environment for young, innovative entrepreneurs, because Trentino Sviluppo offers bike start-ups access to an excellent infrastructure to develop an idea up to serial production. Financial support for research and an “Acceleration Program” for young entrepreneurs round off the offer.

The official part then ended in relaxed discussions to make new contacts and deepen existing ones.

For the event, we were able to support Trentino in inviting representatives from the bike industry and coordinate the arrangements on site.
